What’s For Sale

Products from Charlottesville local businesses and surrounding counties are for sale on CvilleShops.com. We are starting with gift cards. If successful, we might add more products. It’s designed to enable consumers to purchase multiple products from a variety of local businesses in one shopping cart.

How It Works

When an item is purchased on CvilleShops, two things happen:

  1. An email is sent to the Vendor, informing them about the order so the Vendor can fulfill it.
  2. The money for the item (less the transaction fees) is sent automatically to the Vendor’s PayPal account.

The transaction fees are charged to the customer. Currently, these transaction fees are 2.9% of the order + $0.55. These transaction fees are used to cover the fees from PayPal, which this site uses to process credit cards and transfer funds to the vendors.

When will my order be fulfilled?

Order fulfillment is the responsibility of our Vendors. We have asked our Vendors to fulfill within 2 weeks of the order date, but cannot guarantee that timeframe.

What is your refund and exchange policy?

Since payment for each sale (minus the transaction fees) is transferred to the Vendor, CvilleShops.com and Storyware do not provide refunds or exchanges for any and all purchases.

Transaction feeds are non-refundable.
